Description
Robert Fortgens (Utrecht 1960 – ) is a painter and photographer. Educated at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, he has lived and worked in Antwerp since 2014. Fortgens’ expressionist art is particularly inspired by the work of Willem de Kooning. Later he made more figurative work.
