Hans Laban (Den Haag 1953 – ) is a graphic artist, draftsman, ceramicist and watercolorist. He studied monumental design at the Hogeschool voor Beeldende Kunsten in Utrecht. Since the 70s he has focused on controlling and further developing the graphic arts; first at the Artibus academy in Utrecht and the Amsterdam Graphic Workshop, and then at the Warsaw Art Academy in Poland. Laban works for the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam between 1984 and 1986 and has been a part-time teacher at the Academy for Art and Design St. Joost at Breda.
