Description
Frans van Steenhoven (Amsterdam 1914 – Heiloo 2005). He painted and drew mainly people and landscapes in expressionist style. He worked and lived in Heiloo. He studied at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière Paris. Van Steenhoven was a member of the artists ‘group’ Vereniging de Keerkring ‘ in Amsterdam and the artists’ organization K.C.B. Bergen NH. He signed his work with his initials FVS.
