Description
Dominique Ampe (Ukkel 1944 – ). Word and language play an important role in Dominique Ampe’s artworks. Painting and poetry flow into each other. Ampe creates purely graphic work and for a number of years also oil and acrylic paintings.
Ampe is a painter, draftsman and teacher. Employed in Breda since 1996 (teacher at the St. Joost Academy in Breda).
Education: Academy of Fine Arts in Mechelen / De Grote Hogeschool Antwerp / High School for Visual Design Sint Lucas in Brussels.
