Christien ten Haaf, born in 1953 in Amsterdam. She was a student at the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam and from 1973 to 1975 at the ‘Accademia Firenze’ and the graphic studio ‘Santa Reparate Firenze’. She lived and worked from 1976 to 1979 in northern Italy and in the United States. From 1980 to 1983 in the Netherlands.
